About the Fund
Do you facilitate mental health peer support in Greater Manchester’s community? Are you seeking additional funds to meet your needs? The PeerFest Greater Manchester Sustainability Fund is here to help, whether it's for your wellbeing, development, or service delivery. We want to hear your ideas to ensure this grants program aligns with your unique requirements.
Criteria for Eligibility
- No need to be registered or hold a company bank account.
- Small, grassroots, peer/community-led groups with an annual income of under £100,000.
Focus Areas
1. Your Wellbeing:
We recognize the dedication of peer workers and the importance of self-care. Share your ideas on how the fund can help nurture and sustain your wellbeing or that of your peer group. Examples include individual funds for therapy, reiki healing, or even a gym membership.
Additionally, consider proposals for group activities that bring peer workers from across Greater Manchester together. This could be a retreat or a relaxed day/morning/afternoon of company and conversation.
2. Your Development:
Funding is available to support your training needs, such as travel/participation in conferences. Tell us how we can help you grow and develop in your role.
3. Service Delivery:
Explore opportunities to try something new, whether it's a small community meetup or a sustainable initiative for your group. Funding can be used for equipment, resources, venue hire, food, beverages, or any other reasonable cost that enhances your service delivery.
